Taximeter
A certified device or app that calculates the fare from distance and time according to the official tariff.
A taximeter calculates the fare from distance travelled and waiting time using the official tariff for the area. In many European countries the taximeter must be certified and connected to fiscal recording.
When you change dispatch system, the link between dispatch and taximeter needs to be mapped and tested so that trips, fares and receipts stay correct.
