Taxi dispatch software for Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Taxi centrals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland need dispatch software that handles taximeters and fiscal rules, fixed prices within tariff corridors, patient-transport billing and a way out of shared apps. eCabs Technologies covers these, and TaxiNow in Frankfurt runs taximeter integration and fiscal compliance on the platform.
What DACH operators need from dispatch software
- Taximeters and fiscal rules. In Germany, taximeters have needed a certified fiscal security unit (TSE) since 1 January 2024, and the transition for older INSIKA meters ended on 1 January 2026. The platform integrates with HALE and Semitron taximeters and the TSE requirement.
- Fixed prices. German law has allowed fixed prices within tariff corridors for pre-booked taxi rides since 2021, and cities such as Munich and Berlin now use them. In Austria, pre-booked rides can run at an agreed fixed price without a taximeter since March 2021. The dispatch portal supports fixed prices within the municipal tariff corridor.
- Patient transport. Krankenfahrten billing with digital signatures is supported.
- Accounting. Corporate invoicing exports to accounting and ERP systems such as DATEV.
Leaving a shared app
Many centrals receive orders through shared apps such as taxi.eu or Taxi Deutschland. When you switch, we plan how those orders keep reaching you during the move, and how your customers move to your own branded passenger app at a pace you choose.

FAQ
Questions operators ask
Does eCabs Technologies work with TSE taximeters in Germany?
Yes. The platform integrates with taximeters and the TSE requirement. German taximeters have needed a certified fiscal security unit since 1 January 2024, and the transition for older INSIKA meters ended on 1 January 2026.
Can we offer fixed prices for pre-booked taxi rides?
Yes. The dispatch portal supports fixed prices within the municipal tariff corridor, which German law has allowed for pre-booked taxi rides since 2021.
Do we have to leave taxi.eu or Taxi Deutschland straight away?
No. Your current dispatch system keeps running in parallel during the switch, so orders from a shared app keep reaching you through it. Your customers move to your own branded app at the pace you choose, and you decide when, or whether, to stop taking shared-app orders.
Can we switch dispatch systems without disrupting our operation?
That is what the plan is built around. Your current system keeps running underneath every stage until you decide to cut over, so phones, bookings and drivers always have a working system.
Can we bring our customers and booking history with us?
Yes. We import the customer, account, address, booking-history, driver, vehicle, zone and tariff data you can lawfully and practically export from your current system, and check its quality and gaps before anything goes live.
Will we lose phone calls on the day we switch?
No. Phone numbers and call handling are planned as their own step, and your current system keeps taking calls until the agreed cutover. Phone bookings then run in the same dispatch as app and web orders.
