Platform
Taximeter integration and fiscal compliance
eCabs Technologies integrates with HALE and Semitron taximeters and Germany's fiscal security rules (TSE), supports fixed prices within municipal tariff corridors, and handles patient-transport (Krankenfahrten) billing with digital signatures. TaxiNow in Frankfurt runs taximeter integration and fiscal compliance on the platform.
Built for regulated taxi markets
Taxi markets in Germany, Austria and across Europe set strict rules for meters, receipts and prices. The platform connects to taximeters and tax-authority interfaces so that every trip is recorded and priced the way the local rules require.
HALE and Semitron taximeters
The platform is integrated with taximeters from HALE and Semitron, two established taximeter makers in German-speaking markets. Traditional taxi operators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can keep working with the meters in their vehicles when they move to eCabs Technologies.

Switching from another system?
Every migration starts with discovery
No two operations are the same. We start by understanding how yours works, then plan the migration with you, tested step by step. That is how Taxi Fiume moved off a system it had used for more than 10 years while staying open 24/7.

FAQ
Taximeter integration: questions operators ask
Does eCabs Technologies work with TSE taximeters in Germany?
Yes. The platform integrates with taximeters and the TSE requirement. German taximeters have needed a certified fiscal security unit since 1 January 2024, and the transition for older INSIKA meters ended on 1 January 2026.
Which taximeters can you connect?
Taximeter integration in DACH markets is part of the platform. We check which devices your fleet uses and how they connect during discovery, before anything changes.
Can we offer fixed prices for pre-booked taxi rides?
Yes. The dispatch portal supports fixed prices within the municipal tariff corridor, which German law has allowed for pre-booked taxi rides since 2021.
Is patient-transport (Krankenfahrten) billing supported?
Yes. Krankenfahrten billing with digital signatures is supported, alongside tax-authority interfaces and public-transport links.
Which fiscal rules apply to our taxis?
It depends on your country and city. Germany requires a TSE fiscal unit on taximeters, Croatia fiscalises every consumer receipt from 2026, and Bulgaria, Romania and Greece each have their own requirements. We map your exact requirements in discovery, before anything goes live.
