Protecting phone bookings
Phone bookings stay at the heart of a taxi operation. eCabs Technologies is a taxi booking system built for call-centre agents: the keyboard-first screen creates a booking in under 15 seconds, and phone orders are dispatched alongside app, web and corporate bookings in the same system. eCabs Malta also takes bookings through Voice AI.
Built for agents on the phone
The booking screen is keyboard-first: one view to create and manage bookings, fast address and waypoint search, and no switching between screens while the caller waits. Agents reach booking times of under 15 seconds.
One dispatch for every channel
A phone booking goes into the same dispatch, pricing and customer records as an app or web booking. Dispatchers see every order in one place, whichever way it arrived.
Connected to your phone system
eCabs Technologies works with the cloud phone systems taxi operators already use. TaxiNow in Frankfurt runs on Deutsche Telekom CompanyFlex Cloud PBX, and Taxi Fiume in Rijeka and Taxi Barok run on Telemach. eCabs Technologies also integrates with 3CX, and with Sinch for SMS. Other providers are connected during discovery, as part of the switch.
The phone stays open while you switch
When you move from a legacy dispatch system, your phone numbers and call handling are planned as part of the staged switch. Your current system keeps running until the cutover decision, so the people who still phone are looked after throughout.
Proven on our own fleet
At eCabs Malta, phone bookings fell from 90 per cent of all bookings in 2013 to 15 per cent in 2026 as customers moved to the app, web, corporate portal and Voice AI, while the call centre stayed available for everyone who prefers to phone.

Switching from another system?
Every migration starts with discovery
No two operations are the same. We start by understanding how yours works, then plan the migration with you, tested step by step. That is how Taxi Fiume moved off a system it had used for more than 10 years while staying open 24/7.

FAQ
Phone and AI booking: questions operators ask
How fast can call-centre agents take a phone booking?
In under 15 seconds. The keyboard-first booking screen keeps everything in one view, with fast address and waypoint search, so agents never switch screens while the caller waits.
Do phone bookings go into the same dispatch as app bookings?
Yes. A phone booking goes into the same dispatch, pricing and customer records as an app or web booking, so dispatchers see every order in one place, whichever way it arrived.
Can passengers book a taxi through Voice AI?
Yes. eCabs Malta already takes bookings through Voice AI alongside its call centre, which stays available for everyone who prefers to speak to an agent.
Will we lose phone calls on the day we switch?
No. Phone numbers and call handling are planned as their own step, and your current system keeps taking calls until the agreed cutover. Phone bookings then run in the same dispatch as app and web orders.
