This privacy policy explains how eCabs Technologies Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use ecabstech.com, chat with our AI assistant, send us an enquiry or apply for a job.

Enquiries and consultation requests

When you use our consultation or contact form, we collect your name, company, work email, phone number, country, fleet size, current dispatch system and your message.

Why: to reply to you and discuss our services.
Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
How it is handled: the form is sent by email to our sales team and to M7Alpha, the agency that manages this website and helps us handle enquiries. Nothing from the form is stored in a database on this website.

AI assistant

The chat on this website (“Talk to us about your operation”) is an AI assistant. It answers questions about eCabs Technologies using the content of this website only.

What is processed: the messages you type in the chat. Please do not share sensitive personal information there. If you would like our team to contact you, use the short form in the chat.
Who processes it: your messages are sent to Anthropic, the provider of the AI model (Claude), only to write the answers. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, these messages are not used to train its models.
What we keep: to understand what visitors ask and to improve this website and the assistant, we save the messages typed in the chat and the assistant’s answers, together with the page and language, for 12 months. We do not save your name or IP address with them, and email addresses and phone numbers typed in the chat are removed before saving. Your browser keeps the conversation only until you close the tab. To protect the service from misuse, we also keep daily message counts linked to a one-way coded form of your IP address (not the address itself), and, if the chat is used to look for a job, a 24-hour block for that address. For billing we keep usage totals without any message content.
If you send the form in the chat: your details, your own messages in the chat and a short summary written by the assistant are sent to our team by email, as described under Enquiries above.
Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the chat and the contact forms are used by a person.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering questions about our services, and steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.

Job applications

When you apply for a job on this website, we collect the information in your application: your name, email address, phone number, CV, cover letter, photo if you choose to add one, and your answers to the questions for that role.

Why: to assess your application and contact you about the recruitment process.
Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible employment contract, and your consent where you give it.
How it is handled: your application is sent directly from your browser to Recruitee, the recruitment software used by eCabs, and is not stored on this website. It is reviewed by the eCabs recruitment team and the hiring managers for the role.
How long we keep it: for as long as needed for the recruitment process, in line with eCabs’ recruitment retention practices. You can ask us to delete your application at any time.

Cookies and analytics

Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner. If you do, we load the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand how the site is used and to measure our campaigns. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. See our cookie policy.

Technical data

Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time, to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify you.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf:

M7Alpha, our website agency, which receives copies of enquiry forms and manages the website
Recruitee, for job applications
Anthropic, for the AI assistant’s answers
Cloudflare, for spam protection on the chat and the forms
Google, for analytics and advertising measurement, only if you accept cookies
Our hosting and email providers, to run the website and deliver form emails

Where a provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for 2 years after our last interaction, or as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Job applications are kept as described above.

Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Request correction or deletion
Object to processing or restrict its use
Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
Receive your data in a portable format
Complain to a supervisory authority
