Platform
Card, app and cash payments for taxi operators
Passengers pay in the app with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, in cash, or on in-car terminals. eCabs Technologies is integrated with Adyen, Revolut and Mercado Pago, with Fiserv in development, and connects to other payment service providers (PSPs) when an operator needs one. Driver payouts are automated. Card payment functionality is included in every plan; provider fees apply separately.

Payment integrations: Adyen, Revolut, Fiserv, Mercado Pago and more
eCabs Technologies is integrated with established payment providers: Adyen, Revolut and Mercado Pago. Integration with Fiserv is in development. We keep adding providers and payment methods around the needs of operators and their markets. If you work with another payment service provider (PSP), or a market needs a local one, we integrate it as part of your setup. You choose the provider that suits your business and your market.
Card payment functionality is included in every eCabs Technologies plan; the provider’s own processing fees apply separately.
Payment flows with Adyen and Revolut
Adyen and Revolut are live on the platform. Through either provider, passengers pay in the app by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Business trips go to corporate accounts, and driver earnings feed automated payouts. You choose the provider that suits your market and your banking, and cash and card terminals run alongside in the same operation. Each provider’s additional products and payment methods have their own integration scope, which we plan with you.
Automated driver payouts
Driver earnings, bonuses, paid waiting time and cancellation fees are calculated automatically, and payouts to drivers are automated.

Cash, card terminals and in-app payments in one operation
Cash collected by a driver and payments collected through the platform settle differently. Both are taken into account when driver earnings and balances are calculated, and settlement is set up around your fleet structure and accounting requirements.
Cash-deposit machines
In Malta, drivers deposit cash at a cash-deposit machine connected to the platform: each deposit is linked to the driver’s account, updating their balance and reducing manual administration. The connection runs through APIs, so many of the major cash-deposit machines on the market can be integrated. We assess your hardware and supplier during discovery and scope the connection around your setup.
Tips go to the driver
Passengers can tip in the app, and the full tip goes straight to the driver.

Switching from another system?
Every migration starts with discovery
No two operations are the same. We start by understanding how yours works, then plan the migration with you, tested step by step. That is how Taxi Fiume moved off a system it had used for more than 10 years while staying open 24/7.

FAQ
Payments: questions operators ask
Can we keep our own payment provider?
Yes. Payments run through your chosen provider, such as Adyen or Revolut, and in-car payment terminals are supported alongside Apple Pay, Google Pay, card and cash.
Are card payments included in the price?
Card payment functionality is included in every eCabs Technologies plan. Your payment provider’s own processing fees apply separately.
Do drivers get the full tip?
Yes. Passengers can tip in the app, and the full tip goes straight to the driver. Driver payouts, including bonuses, paid waiting time and cancellation fees, are automated.
