Tariff corridor
A price range set by a city around the official taxi tariff, within which operators may offer fixed prices for pre-booked rides.
A tariff corridor lets taxi operators quote a fixed price for a pre-booked ride, as long as it stays within a band around the official metered tariff. In Germany the option has existed since 2021; Munich introduced a corridor in 2023 and Berlin introduced fixed prices in 2024.
