Pre-booked ride
A taxi ride booked in advance for a set time, such as an airport transfer, hospital appointment or business trip.
A pre-booked ride is scheduled for a set time rather than requested for now. Airport transfers, hospital appointments, school runs and business trips are typical examples.
Pre-booked and recurring rides need special care when you change dispatch systems, so that none are lost or duplicated at the cutover.
Related: running two systems side by side.
