How to grow corporate accounts for a taxi company

· By Marvin Briffa, Director of Operations

Business customers book regularly, pay by invoice and are less price-sensitive than street hails. For many operators they are the most predictable revenue. Here is how to win and keep them.

Make booking effortless

Let account users book by phone, app, web portal or a hotel desk tool, for themselves, guests or clients, without needing the app.

Give each account its own terms

Set prices, discounts and surcharges per account, vehicle type and trip type, with commissions for hotels and intermediaries where you use them.

Let them control spending

Travel policies, budgets and limits by department, with bookings outside policy flagged, make finance teams comfortable signing up.

Show where the car is

Live tracking of each ride, with driver details and ETA, lets hotels and travel teams keep their guests informed.

Send one clean invoice

A consolidated monthly invoice with VAT, trip history and cost centres, exportable to the customer’s accounting or ERP system, removes the most common reason accounts leave.

Where to find accounts

Hotels, hospitals and clinics, airports, offices, event venues and public bodies in your area all need reliable transport. At eCabs Malta, more than 900 corporate and government accounts book through the platform.
