INSIKA
An earlier German standard for protecting taximeter records with a smart card, accepted until 1 January 2026 as taximeters moved to TSE.
INSIKA is an older German method of securing taximeter data with a smart card. Taximeters fitted with INSIKA before 2021 could keep using it until 1 January 2026; since then the TSE rules apply to them too.
