Fiscalisation
The legal requirement to register each sale with the tax authority, usually by issuing a fiscal receipt with a code from an approved device or system.
Fiscalisation means every sale is recorded with the tax authority, usually through an approved device or software that issues a fiscal receipt with a unique code. Rules differ by country: Croatia requires every consumer receipt to be fiscalised from 2026, and Bulgaria, Romania and Greece have their own fiscal-device requirements for taxis.
